Talem Consulting is a consulting firm providing capacity building services for nonprofits throughout the United States. We work with a variety of organizations ranging from social justice, reproductive health, youth services, social services, as well as national and international organizations.
Talem is looking for an Administrative Assistant to play a vital role in supporting a mission-driven impact for its clients. Responsibilities:
Manage Quickbooks - invoicing, reconciliations, reports, and other needs
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
Maintain contact lists
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Organize travel arrangements
Coordinate remote office procedures
Managing social media channels
Qualifications:
Commitment to supporting our clients’ missions.
Previous administrative assistance experience of 2+ years is strongly preferred
Previous work with Quickbooks or other accounting software a priority
Strongly preferred but not required is social media and marketing experience
Commitment and Compensation:
An estimated 10-15 hours/week for $25 an hour, no benefits provided. Payment is made at the end of each month
A flexible work environment with the opportunity to work from home.
Weekly phone check-ins with Talem staff.
Our hiring process and timeline
We will review applications on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
We will conduct short phone interviews in June.
