Talem Consulting is a consulting firm providing capacity building services for nonprofits throughout the United States. We work with a variety of organizations ranging from social justice, reproductive health, youth services, social services, as well as national and international organizations.

Talem is looking for an Administrative Assistant to play a vital role in supporting a mission-driven impact for its clients. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Quickbooks - invoicing, reconciliations, reports, and other needs

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

  • Maintain contact lists

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

  • Organize travel arrangements

  • Coordinate remote office procedures

  • Managing social media channels

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to supporting our clients’ missions.

  • Previous administrative assistance experience of 2+ years is strongly preferred

  • Previous work with Quickbooks or other accounting software a priority

  • Strongly preferred but not required is social media and marketing experience

Commitment and Compensation:

  • An estimated 10-15 hours/week for $25 an hour, no benefits provided. Payment is made at the end of each month

  • A flexible work environment with the opportunity to work from home.

  • Weekly phone check-ins with Talem staff.

Our hiring process and timeline

  • We will review applications on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

  • We will conduct short phone interviews in June.

  • We would like to have the selected candidate start by July.
